Tecno Mobile has introduced a new Camon smartphone in India called Camon I. The entry-level device is clad in a metal body that measures 7.75mm at its thinnest pointing, weighing 135 grams. It features a 5.5-inch IPS FullView capacitive touch display with HD+ (1440×720) resolution and aspect ratio of 18:9, just like most Chinese smartphones released these days.
Under the hood is a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor running at a speed of 1.3GHz, paired with Mali-T720 GPU. There is a 3GB of RAM onboard and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The storage is expandable up to 128GB via a MicroSD slot provided. There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back for biometric authentication in unlocking the device.

Android 7.0 Nougat governs all software activities, enhanced with the company proprietary HiOS. The dual SIM enabled Camon i sports a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and quad-LED flash, while a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens is equipped at the front, also accompanied with a LED flash.
In terms of connectivity, the Camon i supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS, FM radio, and USB OTG. It is backed by a 3050mAh battery.
Priced at Rs 8999 (US$135), the smartphone will be up grab at offline stores across India in coming days in Midnight Black, Champagne, and City Blue colors.
