Tecno Mobile, one of the major brands driving some parts of Africa markets today has launched five new smartphones exclusively in India namely, i3, i3 pro, i5, i5 pro, and i7. This is the first time Tecno Mobile will launched a device in India and to honor the first initiative, the company has chosen to use the “i” prefix in the phones naming which literally depict “India”.
Starting from the smallest and less powerful i3 to the largest and faster i7, all the device runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box buttered with the company’s proprietary HiOS. The i3 and i3 pro features identical specs besides the difference in RAM and storage capacity and likewise the i5 and i5 pro. The i7 which is the high-end version in the list sports a 16MP front-facing camera for selfie and a 13MP rear snapper. All the device comes in Champagne Gold, Silver Grey, and Sky Black colours.

The Tecno i3 is priced at Rs 7,990 ($120), the i3 pro at Rs 9,990 ($150), the i5 at Rs 11,490 ($172), i5 pro at Rs 12,990 ($195), and the i7 at Rs 14,990 ($225). The phones will go on sale later this week and the i7 in May.
