The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu visited the Central market in KATSINA on Wednesday over the fire incident that sees the billions worth of properties destroyed, and he was received by the state governor, Aminu Masari, and other top government officials in the state.

During this visit, Tinubu announced a donation of the sum of N50million to victims of the Katsina Central Market Fire. Eyewitnesses attributed the fire to the explosion from gas cylinders sold in one of the shops.
While commiserating with victims of the fire incident, the APC leader maintained that despite the tragedy, the traders must never lose sight of the bigger pictures.
