At the ongoing MWC event which is hosted in Barcelona, Vivo has launched an upgraded version of its smartphone that carries world’s slimmest phone title last month, the Vivo X5Max+. The device is priced at CNY 2,998 (Roughly $480 USD) and will hit shelves in coming days. Availability for global market is not known.
The Vivo X5Max+ sports almost identical specifications with Vivo X5Max except that it is more bulkier (5.1mm thick), packs a more powerful processor and a larger battery. It features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The budget support dual-SIM functionality and packs a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6572 processor clocked at 1.7GHz along with 2GB of RAM. There’s a 16GB built-in storage onboard which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
The Vivo X5Max+ sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and houses a 5-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wifi, Bluetooth, and USB OTG. It comes with 2300mAh battery which is 300mAh higher than its predecessor.
