We spotted the Oppo R5 killer last month without knowing it will take off soon. The Chinese phone maker Vivo has finally launched its long rumoured flagship smartphone in China, the X5Max. According to the firm, the phone will be available from December 22 at CNY 2,999 (Roughly $490 USD, NGN 90,000 Nairas). The Vivo X5Max will also kick off in India next week.
The Vivo X5Max is 4.75mm thick which kills Oppo R5 4.85mm thickness by 0.10mm thereby making it the world’s slimmest. If we have to go back in time, the Gionee Elife S5.5 was the first to start the race this year before it was taken by Elife S5.1 in September, not long after that Oppo R5 took the crown from Gionee in October and now Vivo X5Max as claimed the world’s slimmest title.
