Vivo has introduced a new mid-ranger with 5G connectivity for consumers, the Vivo Z6 5G. The phone, announced in China today, brings a 6.57-inch LCD screen, Snapdragon 765G chipset, and a 5000mAh battery. It boots FunTouch OS 10 based on Android 10 out-of-the-box.
As said, the phone has a 6.57-inch Full HD+ (2080×1080) LCD display that touts a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the display panel is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 7nm chipset running at a speed of 2 4GHz, coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. There is also an 8GB RAM model. Vivo revealed that it use a liquid cooling system to lower the CPU temperature by almost 10°C.

Vivo is offering the device in three different storage versions, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB, all based on UFS 2.1. Unfortunately, there is no MicroSD slot available. The phone has a tiny punch-hole at the top-right of the screen that accommodates a 16MP selfie shooter, while at the rear resides four cameras.
The main camera has a 48MP (f/1.79) sensor, the secondary camera has an 8MP (f/2.25) ultra-wide angle lens (112°), the tertiary is a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens, while the fourth in the row is a 2MP depth sensor. A single LED flash is placed beside the cameras for low-light shot.
The Vivo Z6 5G has a dedicated dual SIM slot with dual standby., and security is handled by a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity put in place includes 5G (SA/NSA), dual 4G VoLTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5, dual band GPS (L1+L5) / GLONASS/Beiduo, NFC, and USB Type-C.
As mentioned earlier, it draws its power from a gigantic 5000mAh battery with the supports of 44W Ultra-Fast Flash charge that can charge the phone from 0% to 100% within 65 minutes, and from 0% to 70% in 35 minutes.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo Z6 5G with 6GB RAM/128GB storage is priced at CN¥2198 (US$313), while the 8GB RAM/128GB storage version goes for CN¥2598 (US$370). It will be available for pre-order in China from February 29th in Aurora Black, Ice Blue, and Silver colors.
