Since taking over at the club, Thomas Tuchel seems to have changed everything at the club. With fans now being excited to watch the team play, unlike before.
With everyone at the club exhibiting an upgrade in their game play. Jorginho even came out to say it expressly.
The Italian international told Chelsea website in an interview, “The coach wants us having control of the game, playing from behind, even when the pressure comes. So, for me, it’s a good way to play football that I like & enjoy, & I think it’s better for my characteristics than playing long balls, & second balls.”
Against Atletico, they seemed unplayable. Diego Simeone had no answer for what Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea threw at him.
