The Envy Note 8 is not the only hybrid tablet launched by HP today, the company has also released a revamped edition of its Spectre X2 convertible tablet with a slimmer premium aluminium body profile of 8.0mm, which is 0.8mm thinner than the Surface Pro 4. Infact, the tablet when attach with its keyboard has a mere thickness of 13.51mm, a huge upgrade when compared to Spectre X2 2014 edition.

The body design is not the only thing that changes here, the display has been decline from 13-inch to 12-inch but it still retains the same full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution with 150-degree viewing angle. The device is powered by a 6th generation Intel Core M processor in a fanless system, coupled with up to 256GB of storage. The RAM comes in various configuration but can be extended up to 12GB.

HP Spectre X2 rear kickstand

The “U” kickstand at the back allow the device to be use in different position. The Spectre X2 2015 comes with HP Active Pen and runs Windows 10 operating system unlike its predecessor. An 8-megapixel camera is integrated at the back, while it sports an Intel RealSense camera at the front.

In connectivity compartment, the tablet have WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 2x USB Type-C 3.0 connectors, and 4G (via SIM slot). It will be available starting this month (October) in the U.K at a price of £849 ($1,300 USD, #259,650 NGN).
