One of the hottest street banger in 2020, was “baba fela (original)” by Mr Real, and the street hasn’t gotten over it before he dropped a remix to the song featuring one of the kings of street vibe, Zlatan Ibile, and winner of the 2020 BBnaija, Laycon(Icon).

While the original song was to hail and acknowledge Fela level of weed intake, the remix saw Naira Marley getting an honourary mention. Though it is more of an explicit song of the street but the main aim is that it is a song challenging haters, telling them no matter how much they hate there are some things they can’t do or there are certain levels they can’t get to.
It was a kind of song that is in line with Zlatan’s style of zanku music but Laycon gave it a different vibe, cool but yet banging rap, considering that most of his part was sung in English as against the typical indigenous flow from Mr Real and Zlatan.
The visuals to the remix was immediately dropped and you can’t deny Dr Nell did justice to the video, in terms of costumes, location, and color grading, it is a great video to watch.
