The draw for the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League draw has taken place today at Nyon, and the eight teams that qualified from the round of 16, onto the quarterfinals have now been pitted against each other.

Bayern Munich would face PSG, in what would be a repeat of last year’s Champions League final; while the winner of the tie gets to face the winner of Borussia Dortmund v Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola who is on a good season with Manchester City would be ruing his luck. With the club facing their transfer target in Haaland and former City player, Jadon Sancho who will be out to prove a point.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the draw lies: Real Madrid v Liverpool and Chelsea v Porto.

Liverpool take on Real Madrid in what would be a repeat of the 2018 final in which Mohammed Salah was injured in a challenge against Sergio Ramos.

But the best draw goes to Thomas Tuchel and his Chelsea. The Blues got the side every other side were wishing for – F.C. Porto.

More still, if Chelsea should progress, they get to face a wavering Liverpool or Real Madrid. This could be Tuchel’s season!
