The Chinese firm Vivo, who claimed world’s slimmest phone title from Oppo with X5Max earlier this year may soon debut a new flagship before end of May. The phone named as X5Max S has been certified by TENAA (China equivalent of FCC) and some of its specifications are cast on their webpage.
If this budget is bond to arrive, it’ll be the third smartphone by Vivo to packs X5Max engine. The second in X5 portfolio dubbed as X5Max+ was launched at MWC in March but couldn’t cross China border.

According to the listing, the Vivo X5Max S will come with a huge 4150mAh battery which is twice the size of battery that backs X5Max, however, the huge size of the battery has great impact on its slim figure and has push up its thickness from 4.7mm to 7.9mm.
Specwise, the smartphone will features a 5.5-inch display with a full-HD (1080p) resolution. It will be powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor slammed with 2GB of RAM. Android 5.0 Lollipop is expected to handle all internal activities and 4G LTE will be onboard to give more speed to internet browsing with TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE support.
The Vivo X5Max S will be equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera while a 5-megapixel camera will take hold of the front. To cap it all, a 16GB of internal storage will be inside to host files and apps installation with external storage support (up to 128GB).
Vivo X5Max S is not the only phone we are expecting this month, X5Pro is also on the list. Whichever makes it in time will be welcome.
