Along with the newly announced Redmi 4, Xiaomi also launched a cheaper and less powerful variant of the device named Redmi 4A. This is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor instead of 430 and it also lacks a fingerprint sensor. The battery has been lowered from 4000mAh to 3030mAh and the dual-tone LED flash replaced with a single LED flash. Besides these changes other specs remains the same.
