At the on-going MWC event that started today in Shangai China, ZTE has announced a new budget smartphone under its Blade series dubbed Blade D6. The phone will first hit Japan, Australia, and Russia after which it will begin to roll out globally, however, the firm hasn’t detailed its pricing.
The ZTE Blade D6 is wrapped in sleek aluminium body that measures 142×69.5×6.95mm, bearing a weight of 120 gram. It features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Diving in, the device is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz slammed with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box which is further enhanced with MiFavor 3.2 UI. The Blade D6 support dual-SIM with hybrid formation that enables the second SIM slot to also be used as MicroSD card slot.

It packs a 16GB of built-in which is expandable via MicroSD card. The ZTE Blade D6 houses a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash while it bears a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens camera at the front. Connectivity options onboard are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2200mAh battery.
The phone comes in four different colors Silver, Grey, Pink, and Gold.
