ZTE are not left behind in unveiling their latest flagship, the Grand S3. The smartphone is priced at CNY 2999 (Roughly $472 USD) and its currently on sale in China while availability for global market is not yet known.
The Grand S3 is a successor to Grand S II which was launched last year. The highlight of the device is its EyePrint ID biometric system which let users lock and unlock their smartphone with eye without password or passcode. The eye retina is scanned with the phone front camera.

Specwise, the Grand S3 support dual-SIM and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 5.5-inch IPS OGS display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and packs a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear snapper with twin-LED flash while it is also equipped with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The ZTE Grand S3 comes with a 16GB internal storage that is expandable via MicroSD card (up to 64GB) and offers 4G LTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB as connectivity options. It is backed by a 3100mAh battery.
