As official release of Microsoft new Windows 10 is drawing near with the flagline set on this summer, the Redmount tech giant has announced the various editions of its next-to-be operating system.

Windows 10 Home
The Windows 10 Home is primarily made for individuals and general public. It will feature Microsoft virtual assistant Cortana and Microsoft Edge (a.k.a Spartan Browser) will be the default web browser. It’ll also include iris and fingerprint login, Hello face recognition, and continuum tablet mode that’ll enables mobile users to run full desktop mode from their phone. The Windows 10 Home will be seeded in PCs, smartphones, tablets, and 2-in-1 convertible devices.
Windows 10 Pro
It packs all the functionality in Windows 10 Home but is primarily aimed at small businesses. It is more secure and helps to protect sensitive data with cloud technologies support.
Windows 10 Enterprise
Primarily aimed at large scale businesses and organizations. Windows 10 Enterprise supports the broadest range of options for operating system deployment and comprehensive device and app management. Much like Windows 10 Pro, but offers more security over business data.
Windows 10 Education
The Windows 10 Education is built on Windows 10 Enterprise but it’s aimed at educational sectors. It offers academic volume licensing and is meant to meet the needs of teachers, students, and staffs. Schools/students using Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro can upgrade to Windows 10 Education.
Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise
The Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise offers same features as Windows 10 Mobile, but is aimed at businesses on mobile platform. Comes with additional security and mobile device management.
Microsoft has previously announced that all users on Windows 7, Windows 8.0, and Windows 8.1 are given free access to upgrade to Windows 10 within the first year of launching. The firm is yet to reveal the specific date when the operating system will go live but they do confirm that it won’t exceed this summer.
