Earlier this month LG launched three smartphones under its new “Q series”, today, the company has silently unveiled a new mid-flagship device in Italy, also labelled with the Q identity. Dubbed Q8 (LGH970), the phone is listed on LG Italy website without pricing details. Thankfully, the company is clever enough to revealed most of its specifications.
The LG Q8 takes most of its specs from V20 that was introduced last year. Just like V20, it has dual display, a primary (main) 5.2-inch display with QHD resolution and a secondary “always-on” display with 160×1040 pixel resolution, located besides the front camera. The secondary display will enable users to interact with the phone, read notifications and launch apps without turning on the main screen.

Another notable feature is dual 13MP + 8MP cameras it sports at the back, with dual LED flash placed inbetween for lighting during photo capture. The first camera has a large f/1.8 aperture with Optical Image Stabilization, and the second an f/2.4 aperture. The Q8 is waterproof and dustproof certified with IP67 rating and it also comes with Quad DAC Hi-Fi for great listening pleasure.
It runs Android 7.1 Nougat, has a fingerprint sensor on the back, and is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery.

LG has revealed the pricing details for its Q8 device. The phone is priced at £599.90 and will be available in Italy via Amazon starting from next week.
