Google has launched a more powerful variant of its Chromecast device today dubbed Chromecast Ultra. Unlike previous releases, the new device supports 4K Ultra HD and HDR (High Dynamic Range) out-of-the-box which allow users to watch and stream full 4K contents to there TV screen.
The device comes with WiFi 802.11ac, an upgrade from WiFi 802.11 b/g/n found on older Chromacasts released by the firm, this makes it to perform better and faster. With the new Chromecast Ultra, users can stream 4K contents directly from Netflix, YouTube and other 4K-ready channels. A built-in function optimizes 4K contents deliver on TVs that are not 4K-ready for clearer view as well.

Contents can be cast or mirror from Miracast-enabled smartphones and tablets, and also from laptops via Chrome browser. Wired connectivity options included are HDMI port, USB port, and Ethernet port.
The Google Chromecast Ultra is priced at $69. It will be available in U.S on Best Buy, Walmart, Target and Google Store from November. Other regions are expected to follow.
