Popular Musician Collects Money From Poor People To Sing For President Buhari

A Popular political singer Dauda Kahutu Rarara has revealed that only poor people were allowed to contribute to the money he gathered for singing for Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari.

The singer added that he turned down offers from one minister and several senators to contribute to the fund because he wants to prove to people that President Buhari still has loyal supporters among millions of poor people.

“The reason I made poor people try contributing money before I eventually release this new song for Buhari is that there are people are always saying that the President does not have supporters anymore, so the idea was to tell them it isn’t true”

“There was a minister get one minister that called me just after I started the initiative last week that he wants to donate money but I told I refused his offer saying that it was for poor people only”

On some reports that the singer has realized nearly N60M after he announced the account number people will contribute to last week, he said the money that has been realized is much but the exact amount won’t be made public until after two weeks. He added that only poor people are contributing to the course.

“What I will tell you is that the money so far gathered is unbelievable and it has shown that poor people still love President Buhari”

The Katsina state born singer recently came under fire especially on social media where some people rained causes on him that he is contributing to their suffering since his music pushed 2015 and 2019 elections that ushered in this government.

Many Nigerians are going through hardship in recent times as prices of food, fuel, and electricity are on a high in the country.
