Steven Greener is an American entertainment executive, producer, and manager. He is best known for his long-standing work in the music industry and his success as a talent manager.
Greener was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1971, but grew up in Southfield, Michigan. He attended Southfield-Lathrup High School, where he was active in music and theater. After high school, he attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
After college, Greener moved to Los Angeles, California, where he began working in the music industry. He started his career as an assistant at Jive Records, where he worked with artists such as Britney Spears and NSYNC.

In 2002, Greener left Jive Records to become the vice president of A&R at Atlantic Records. While at Atlantic, he worked with a diverse range of artists, including Christina Aguilera, Staind, and Trick Daddy.
After leaving Atlantic, Greener founded his own management company, Primary Wave Music, in 2006. The company quickly became successful, managing the careers of artists such as CeeLo Green, Melissa Etheridge, and Kurtis Blow.
In addition to his work in the music industry, Greener has also been involved in film and television production. He has produced several films, including “American Honey” and “The Last Word,” as well as the TV series “Family Time” and “Saints & Sinners.”
Greener has won numerous awards throughout his career, including a Music Business Association Award for Executive of the Year in 2019.
