LG Phoenix 3 with LTE Cat.4, 5-inch Display Arrives to AT&T in U.S

LG has launched a new budget smartphone exclusively on AT&T in the United States called Phoenix 3, the successor of Phoenix 2 that was launched on same network carrier in May last year. The Phoenix 3 sports lower specs and is cheaper when compare with its predecessor.

In technical aspect, the phone features a 5.0-inch IPS capacitive touch display with FWVGA (854×480) resolution, touting a pixel density of 196ppi. It is powered by an unspecified quad-core processor with unknown RAM capacity (probably 1GB of RAM), coupled with 16GB of built-in storage. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

The LG Phoenix 3 supports 4G LTE Cat.4 with up to 300Mbps download speed and up to 50Mbps upload speed. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with LG proprietary UX on top for smarter accessibility and good user experience. In photography, the device is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear-facing autofocus camera with LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera sits at the front, also accompanied with a single LED flash for great selfie capture.

The LG Phoenix 3 offers Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi with Hotspot, 3G, GPS, and Micro-USB as connectivity options apart from 4G LTE. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery.

The phone will be available from today March 10 on AT&T official website and selected retail outlets across United States at a price of US$79.99 off-contract.
