Xiaomi earlier today launched a new electric scooter on its crowdfunding platform MIJIA, in China. The scooter which weighs only 12.5kg can be folded within three seconds by tapping on a button, and carry around in arm. Its external layer is made of aircraft grade aluminium alloy which provides strength enough to withstand body weight and is resistant to corrosion.
Foldable bikes are not something new in the market but a foldable scooter is definitely is. Xiaomi may have been popularly known in the west as a phone manufacturer, but there is something more about this firm that miss the eye when it comes to Asia market, especially in China.
