Xiaomi has launched a new product under its Smart Home platform called Yeelight LED Ceiling Light. The device offers 240 color rendering index of up to 95 Lumileds/OSRAM LED lamp beads and can be installed within 5 minutes as claimed by the company. The fast installation is made possible with a coupler module bundled with device that easily push and slide to lock lamp holders.
When installed, optional Bluetooth remote (available separately) let users control the light from a distance. Users can also install accompanied app to their Android or iOS smartphones to remotely control or change light color. The Yeelight LED has a rated power of 28W and life expectancy of 25,000 hours, that is roughly three years.

It has cold and warm color options, moonlight night-light mode, museum-color lighting effects, and a brightness of up to 2000 lumens that can be tune down to as low as 0.1 lumens, thanks to its dual-chip three-way dimming brightness. Also, the color temperature of LEDs can be adjust to fit within the range of 2700K and 6500K.
The Xiaomi Yeelight LED Ceiling Light is dustproof certified with IP60 rating. It is priced at CNY 349 ($51) and is available for pre-orders on Mi Home Shop in China.
