The Apple of China, Xiaomi, has officially announced Redmi 4, the company’s latest smartphone in Redmi line-up in China. It comes in two versions, the first which is the standard version features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 430 chipset, while the second version comes with a full-HD display with same 5-inch screen and packs a more powerful Snapdragon 625 chipset.
The RAM and storage capacity also differs between the two. The Redmi 4 basic version includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage while the high-end version comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. Despite the difference in their specs both variants maintain same body structure and outer metal design. The Redmi 4 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top and house a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 2GB RAM + 16GB storage version is priced at CNY 699 ($103), while the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version is priced at CNY 899 ($133). It is expected to go on sale later this month in China.
