Huawei has officially launched Y6 II, its latest budget smartphone and the successor of Y6 released by the company last year. Measuring 154.3x77x8.45mm, the phone features a 5.5-inch capacitive touch display with a HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It comes in two processor variants, octa-core Kirin 630 and octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617, backed with Mali-450 and Adreno 405 GPU respectively depending on market. Both chipset are accompanied with 2GB of RAM.

The Huawei Y6 II runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box topped with Emotion UI 4.1. It includes a 16GB of built-in storage that can be expanded via MicroSD card. Sitting at the rear is a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, while a secondary 8-megapixel wide-angle lens camera with f/2.0 aperture is equipped at the front for taking selfie. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 LE/4.1 (depending on chipset), WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
Though its pricing is not revealed, the phone is speculated to costs around €200 ($220 USD) when it go on sale. The Huawei Y6 II comes in six different colours, White, Gold, Pink, Blue, Yellow, and Black.
