iBall has made a new addition to its Slide tablet series in India, Slide Bio-Mate. The device supports voice-calling functionality and 3G via dedicated dual-SIM slots onboard, but lacks 4G LTE. Its most notable feature is a fingerprint sensor embedded below the physical home button, which allows users to register up to five fingerprints for locking and unlocking the device without entering passcode.
The tablet also comes pre-loaded with Whatsapp, Facebook, Asphalt Nitro and other third-party applications. It features an 8-inch IPS display with WXGA (1280×800) resolution, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It is driven on the inside by a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor (not specified), clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. The internal storage is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

Sitting at the back is a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, while a secondary 2-megapixel camera is equipped at the front. Connectivity options included besides 3G are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, FM radio, and USB with OTG. It is powered by 4300mAh battery.
The IBall Slide Bio-Mate is priced at Rs 7,999 ($120 USD). It will be available at online and offline stores across India in coming days.
