With less than 24 hours remaining for MWC event to kick off in Barcelona, Alcatel has announced a new 2-in-1 hybrid tablet named Plus 10. The device runs Windows 10 out-of-the-box and comes bundled with a detachable keyboard. Notably, the keyboard has a dedicated SIM slot where a SIM card can be inserted to access internet connection, with supports of 4G LTE.
In addition, the keyboard comes with a built-in rechargeable battery of 2,580mAh, separately from a 5,830mAh battery backed by the tablet itself, making a total of 8.410mAh. According to Alcatel, the batteries when combine (tablet + keyboard) can offer up to 8 hours of non-stop use.

Specwise, the Alcatel Plus 10 features a 10.1-inch IPS display with WXGA (1280×800 pixels) resolution and 10-point multitouch. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z8350 (Cherry Trail T) processor with a clock speed of 1.92GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It houses a 32GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card.
At the rear, the tablet houses a 5-megapixel camera, while it sports a secondary 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, USB port, HDMI port and Micro-USB port. There are front dual speakers onboard, one placed at the top and the other at the bottom.
The Alcatel Plus 10 comes in four different color options, Matte White, Matte Silver, Matte Volcano Black, and Warm Grey Leather finish. It will start shipping around June in Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle-East. Pricing is yet to be revealed.
