Lenovo K5 Note with Helio P10, 5.5″ FHD Display Goes Official in China

Lenovo has officially announced K5 Note, its latest flagship smartphone in China three weeks after it introduced K4 Note in India. The device is priced at CNY 1099 ($167) and is already available for pre-orders in the region. Availability for other markets is yet to be disclose.

The Lenovo K5 Note sports a sleek aluminium unibody that measures 8.49mm at its thickest point. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with 401ppi pixel density, protected on the surface by a scratch resistant glass. Diving in, the smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, slammed with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T860 GPU. It includes a 16GB of built-in storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

The Lenovo K5 Note runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and offers dual SIM functionality. A fingerprint sensor is located at the back for smart security and authentication just like its predecessor. In camera aspect, the K5 Note packs a 13-megapixel camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), f/2.2 aperture and twin-tone LED flash at the rear, while it comes equipped with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens front-facing camera.

Connectivity options onboard includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi 802.11ac, 3G HSPA+, 2G and GPS. It is backed by a 3500mAh battery. The Lenovo K5 Note also sports dual 1.5W speakers with Dolby Atmos.
