HP has announced a new Chrome-powered notebook that is specifically design for students and teachers at various educational level, the Chromebook 11 G4 Education Edition. It has a solid rigid shape and a tough design that can withstand a 70cm drop. It measures 20mm at its thinnest point and weighs 2.7 pounds.
Specwise, the notebook features an 11-inch HD (1366 x 768 pixel) display that can be tilted up to 180-degree. HP is also offering an optional IPS display model with wide viewing angle. Diving in, the device is powered by an Intel Celeron N2840 Bay Trail processor with a base speed of 2.1GHz that can turbo boost up to 2.5GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphics.

It includes a 16GB of built-in storage and have USB 2.0 port, USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11ac, 3G/4G (optional) and HDMI port as connectivity options. Additionally, the Chromebook 11 G4 possess a SDXC card reader and comes equipped with a webcam.
It will be available in Green and Black color options when it go on sale in the United States later this month. The Chromebook 11 G4 costs $199 USD.
