It features same 7.9-inch QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixels) retina display as its predecessor, but Xiaomi has option for a less powerful 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8500 chipset in this latest version when compares with Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset in first edition.
