HTC has launched a new mid-budget smartphone under its Desire range in China named Desire 828 Dual SIM. The device is listed and available for pre-orders on the company official China webpage, posing a price tag of CN¥ 1,599 ($252 USD). However, availability for global markets is not revealed.
The HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM features a 5.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with HTC Sense UI. Diving in, it is driven by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, backed with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. A 16GB storage resides inside, which is further expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD card.

A 13-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0 apertures, OIS (optical image stabilization) and BSI sensor sits at the rear, accompanied with LED flash, while it posses an UltraPixel camera at the front for selfie. Both the front and rear camera can record video in full-HD (1080).
The dual SIM enabled Desire 828 has two front speakers with Boomsound and Dolby audio. Connectivity options included are Wifi, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB and FM radio. It is fuelled by a 2800mAh battery.
