HTC has added a new flagship to its One M9 collection in China called One M9e, sporting the same unibody metal build as its big brother. The device is available for purchase for CN¥ 2699 ($425 USD) via e-store Tmall. No word on global availability.
The new HTC One M9e features a 5-inch IPS display with full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with Sense UI. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6795T (Helio X10) processor with a clock speed of 2.2GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and PowerVR G6200 GPU. The smartphone packs a 16GB of internal storage with external storage support via MicroSD card (up to 2TB).

A 13-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.2 aperture, dual-LED flash is equipped at the rear, while it houses an UltraPixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture at the front. The rear camera can record videos in 4K resolution and the front camera in full-HD. Two stereo speakers with Boomsound is placed at the front above and below the display, further enhanced by Dolby Audio for best sound output.
On the connectivity front, the One M9e support Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi 802.11ac, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and GLONASS. It is fuelled by a 2840mAh battery. The device comes in Gold, Silver, and Gunmetal Grey colors.
