HTC has added a new mid-budget Android smartphone to its Desire range in China, Desire 728 Dual SIM, priced at CN¥ 1699 (US$265). The device is currently available via HTC eStore, however, global availability is yet to be announce.
The HTC Desire 728 support dual-SIM and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped HTC Sense UI. It features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Diving in, the device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, slammed with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

A 13-megapixel autofocus camera with BSI sensor is equipped at the rear, accompanied with LED flash, while a 5-megapixel sits at the front. Notably, both cameras can record video in full-HD (1080p). There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard which is expandable via MicroSD card.
On the connectivity front, the Desire 728 support Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 2,800mAh battery with Quick Charge support. Other features onboard includes dual front speakers, Boom sound, and Dolby Audio enhancement.
