We are there at last. The Korean tech giant Samsung, earlier today officially announced its latest flagship which has already been in news for a while, the Galaxy Note5. Before we dive into its core properties, we think it will be good to first let you know its pricing and availability. The device will be available for pre-orders starting from August 14 which is today and will start shipping from August 21.
The major US network carriers has revealed their pricing but we are yet to know the fixed price outside this region and globally. According to report reaching us, T-Mobile is offering 32GB version of Galaxy Note5 at $699.99 with contract fee if you order one before 20th of August, unfortunately, 64GB version is presently not on their list. A year free Netflix subscription is also included in the package. AT&T on the other hand is offering Galaxy Note5 on its Next 12, 18 and 24 plans, and allows customer to swap it with their old device for up to $200 while those who have U-verse or DIRECTTV and migrate to AT&T are eligible to get $300 bill credit. The 32GB version of Galaxy Note5 cost $839.99 without contract and 64GB at $914.99.

In physical aspect, the Galaxy Note5 is wrapped in a stylish premium metallic body that measures 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm and weight 171 gram, this is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, Galaxy Note 4, that measures 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5 mm and weight of 176 gram. Under the bottom is a packing slot for accompanied S Pen stylus with handwriting and signature recognition. Laying at the front is a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad-HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution, flaunting a pixel density of 518ppi and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 (4-core 2.1GHz Cortex A57 + 4-core 1.5GHz Cortex A53) processor slammed with 4GB of RAM. A 16-megapixel autofocus camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), LED flash sit at the rear with heart-rate monitor placed under it, while it is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera at the front with full-HD video (1080p) recording.
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and has fingerprint scanner placed underneath the physical home button, which support Paypal and Samsung Pay. Connectivity options onboard are 4G LTE Cat.6 (up to 300Mbps), 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with Hotspot, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS and Micro-USB. It is turn on by a 3000mAh non-removable battery with quick charging and Wireless charging support.
The device comes in Gold Platinum, Silver Titan, White Pearl, and Black Sapphire.
