With Ascend P8 launched, all eye are now focus on Huawei next flagship, the Ascend Mate 8. Nothing much has been heard regarding the device untill now as its render image leaked online.
But first, lets make this clear. Huawei is reported to be working on a new powerful processor to use on its upcoming high budget smartphone which is Kirin 950, this will be an upgrade of Kirin 935 featured P8. The chipset if rumours has it right will be the first processor to support LTE Cat.10 and it is here to compete with the likes of Qualcomm upcoming Snapdragon 820 which is around the corner and MediaTek Helio X20.

It is possible that Huawei may first use this chipset on Ascend Mate 8, but there’s nothing to prove that. With that said, the render image of Ascend Mate 8 leaked shows a metallic body, a fingerprint scanner is embedded below the rear camera sensor while a single LED flash stayed in-between the two. To remind you, Ascend Mate 7 also packs a fingerprint scanner below the camera. Slight changes made here is Mate 7 comes with dual-LED flash which are placed besides the camera setup and not under it.
Also, sensors above the display has been re-arranged. Other functionality the smartphone will bring along is not clear at this stage but we expect more details to erupt as time pass by.
