The Chinese mobile firm Huawei, has enter the Nigeria market with a new entry-level smartphone, Huawei Y3. The phone was teased last month, but it is now available in Nigeria exclusively on Konga. The Huawei Y3 carries a price tag of #12,900 NGN ($65 USD) and comes in four different colors, Black, Red, Blue and White. Konga in partnership with Etisalat are offering 1GB free of data with every single purchase.
In physical aspect, the Huawei Y3 measures 63.8mm x 122.6mm x 10.9mm and weighs 120 grams. It features a 4-inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display flaunting a resolution of 480×800 pixels.

Diving in, the smartphone offers dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box topped with Emotion UI 3.0 Lite. The Huawei Y3 comes in two variants with different chipset, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M version and 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 version, both slammed with 512MB of RAM.
There is a 4GB of built-in storage onboard, which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32GB). It includes a 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera with dual-LED flash at the rear, while it houses a secondary 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options provided with the Huawei Y3 are Bluetooth, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G (HSPA), GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB.
Sensors onboard are 3-axis Accelerometer, Proximity, and G-sensor. It is backed by a 1730mAh removable Li-ion battery.
The Huawei Y3 makes it to our list of cheapest Android 4.4 KitKat smartphones available in Nigeria.
