Innos D6000 Goes Official, Packs 6000mAh Battery, USB-C Port, Lollipop

After months of preparation, the Chinese phone maker Innos has finally debuts its new flagship smartphone named as D6000. We spotted the phone in March when it was showcased.

The Innos D6000 previously teased as Innos D600 do have a decent specifications and it packs all features new-end smartphones of today possess, but it’ll have make a big hit and it might have earned world’s first smartphone with USB Type-C port title if it has made it in time but unfortunately LeTV snatched their chance and win the crown with their Le1 series last month. The smartphone will start shipping in China in June with a price tag of CNY 1,799 (Roughly $290) while global availability is unknown.

Specwise, the Innos D6000 features a 5.2-inch JDI display with a full-HD resolution of 1080*1920 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and offers dual-SIM option with 4G LTE support. Under the hood, the D6000 is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.8GHz alongside with 3GB of RAM.

The most notable features of this beast is its possession of USB Type-C port, the likes seen on Apple Macbooks 2015 editions, and its huge 6000mAh battery capacity which makes use of double cell structure, combining two battery cells of 2840mAh (internal) and 3520mAh (external). Innos claims the phone can last up to 3-4 days when heavily used. Fantastic.

Other specifications include 32GB built-in storage, 16-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the Innos D6000 support Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G (HSPA+), 2G, and GPS/A-GPS. We’ll be the first to order one if it makes it outside China.
