Lenovo slightly opened up its next budget smartphone in February, the A5000. Full specifications of the Lenovo A5000 as been listed on the firm website without pricing and availability, however, we expect it to set sail before end of April.
The highlight of the device is its huge battery. The budget comes with a 4000mAh battery which can deliver up to 33 days of standby and 35 hours of talk time (2G) as claimed by the firm. The Lenovo A5000 measures 71.4 x 9.98 x 140 mm and weight 160 grams. It features a 5-inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels touting a pixel density of 300ppi.

The smartphone support dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with no word on Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT658 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM.
There is an 8GB of built-in storage onboard which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. An 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash take hold of the upper rear area while it is also equipped with a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. On the connectivity front, the Lenovo A5000 support Wifi with Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G (HSPA+), GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and FM radio.
It will be available in two color variants White, and Black.
Other smartphones launched by Lenovo in 2015 are A6000, A7000, P70, and Vibe Shot.
