Following the launch of Xperia Z4 Tablet, Sony also debuts a mid-range smartphone in its “M” category dubbed as Xperia M4 Aqua. The phone comes with a price tag of €299 (Roughly $335 USD) and it will be available before Q3 2015.
The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua features a 5-inch display with a HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with clock speed of 1.5GHz slammed with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone comes with a waterproof and dustproof body with IP65/IP68 ratings.

At the rear, the Xperia M4 Aqua packs a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with Exmor RS sensor and LED flash which is capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos while it also touts a 5-megapixel selfie enabled front camera with HD (720p) video recording capability. The smartphone comes in two storage variants, 8GB and 16GB, both of which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 2400mAh battery.
The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua will be available in four different colours Black, White, Coral, and Silver.
