Lenovo has launched its new flagship smartphone in China, the P70. The phone is priced at CNY 1,399 (Roughly $225, NGN 43,000) and its currently available for purchase while availability outside China is not known.
The highlight of the device is its huge 4000mAh battery that the firm claims can last up to 696 hours (29 days) on standby. The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It support dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The Lenovo P70 is powered by a powerful octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor with a clock speed of 1.7GHz topped with Mali T760-MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It is equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera for selfie shot.
The smartphone comes with a 16GB built-in storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card and offers Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, and Micro-USB as connectivity options. Quick charge technology onboard helps boost battery up to 4 hours of talk time in 15 minutes of charging.
This is the not the first time Lenovo will launched a smartphone with large battery, we are quite familiar with P70t that also packs a 4000mAh battery which can last up to 46 days on a single charge. The Lenovo P70t was launched last year and it’s available with a price tag of $130 USD.
