ZTE has officially launched an upgraded variant of its recently announced Blade S6 budget smartphone in China named as Blade S6 Lux. While the Blade S6 was made for global market, the new variant will be exclusively available in China at a price of CNY 1,999 (Roughly $320 USD).
The ZTE Blade S6 Lux sports a larger display with higher resolution and larger battery when compared with Blade S6, other specifications remain the same. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch JDI display with a full-HD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor slammed with 2GB of RAM.

The Blade S6 Lux runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with the firm custom Mifavor 3.0 UI. On the rear, the smartphone packs a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and Sony IMX214 sensor while it also houses a 5-megapixel front camera. It comes with a 16GB built-in storage which is expandable via MicroSD and offers Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, and Micro-USB as connectivity options. The ZTE Blade S6 Lux is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
Last month, ZTE launched Blade L3 which also runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box but features lower specifications. It features a 5-inch qHD display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 8-megapixel rear camera, and 2-megapixel front camera.
