Last week, Android 5.0 Lollipop update was rolled out to all HTC One M8 devices. Surprisingly, it’s Motorola turn to bombard Moto G and Moto G (Gen 2) users with Google latest Android OS version.
In a tweet that was posted early on Friday via @Motorola the firm announced that Android 5.0 Lollipop update has been rolled out via OTA (over-the-air) for all Moto G and Moto G (Gen 2) smartphones and that users will begin to receive notification telling them to update their device. The new updates bring along Material Design UI, increase performance and new notification system.

Users can also manually check for the new update by going to Settings – About Phone – Check For Update. For those that are unaware of their specifications, it is listed below.
