After having launched Desire 320 earlier this week, HTC has again announced a new smartphone dubbed as Desire 826. Pricing details hasn’t been revealed but the phone will start shipping in China followed by other Asia markets before Q2 2015.
Notably, the Desire 826 is the first smartphone launched by the firm to run Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.

HTC Desire 826 Specifications
The Desire 826 comes in two variants; single-SIM version and dual-SIM version that support two SIMs at a time. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch IPS display with full-HD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
The device packs a 13-megapixel rear snapper with BSI sensor and LED flash and houses 4-ultrapixel front camera for selfie shot. HTC Desire 826 comes with 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card and offers 4G LTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS/A-GPS and Micro-USB as connectivity options. It is backed by a 2700mAh battery.
