Last week, Vivo officially launched its flagship smartphone, the Vivo X5Max in China with the promise of setting India as their next target, the firm being true to their words as launch the smartphone in India. The Vivo X5Max is now available for purchase in India at Rs 32,980 (approximately $530 USD).
The smartphone which robbed Oppo R5 of its world’s slimmest title comes with 4.75mm thickness, support dual-SIM and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box overlay with the firm FunTouch 2.0 UI. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display and packs a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The Vivo X5Max sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and LED flash, while it also houses a 5-megapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, 2G, GPS and OTG. It is backed by a 2100mAh battery.
