Toshiba on Wednesday launched a new Windows tablet in India dubbed as WT8-B. The device is exactly the Toshiba Encore 2 that was launched in May but do seems to have possessed a new name in the India market. The tablet is exclusively available on Amazon India at Rs 15,499 ($250 USD, NGN 45,000 Nigerian Nairas).
Toshiba WT8-B Specifications
The WT8-B features an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and runs Windows 8.1 out-of-the-box. It is powered by a 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G (Bail Trait-T) processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and packs a 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSDXC card.

The device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and houses 1.2-megapixel front camera. The Toshiba WT8-B offers Wifi and Micro-USB as connectivity options and packs a 3788mAh battery.
