Panasonic is set to launch a new smartphone in India, the Eluga I. Though the phone is yet to be officially announce, it has been listed for on e-commerce website at Rs 10,990 (approximately $180 US Dollars, NGN 32,000 Nigerian Nairas).

The Eluga I features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 720×1280-pixels. It offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by a quad-core processor (unknown chipset), clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB of RAM.
It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash at the rear, and a secondary 2-megapixel camera at the front. There is 8GB built-in storage onboard that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The Panasonic Eluga I offers Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, GPS/A-GPS and Micro-USB as connectivity options. It is backed by a 2,000mAh battery.
The Eluga I is the fourth in-line after Eluga U, Eluga A and Eluga S to be launched in India.
