Panasonic has secretly added a new low-cost Android smartphone under its “T” series in India, the T90. The phone is available for purchase at Rs 3,750 (Roughly $61 US Dollars, NGN 10,100 Nigerian Nairas).

The Panasonic T9 features a 3.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 320×480 pixels. It offers dual SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by a dual-core processor (unknown chipset), clocked at 1.3GHz along with 512MB of RAM. It comes with a 4GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
The device touts a 2-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash, and also houses a secondary VGA front camera. Connectivity options include Wifi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, Micro-USB and FM radio. It is backed by a 1,300mAh removable Li-ion battery.
The Panasonic T9 is available in two colour variants – Black and White.
Last month, the firm launched T40 in India at Rs 5,990 (Roughly $98). The mobile features a 4-inch WVGA display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
