The Chinese phone maker Huawei, has added a new series to its flagship’s called Honor 6 Extreme Edition. The smartphone is an upgraded version of Honor 6 that was launched in June in China, and that arrived to India last week. According to the firm, the Honor 6 Extreme edition will be a limited offer, and only 9,999 units will be made. The phone is priced at CNY 2,999 (approx $488), while global availability is not mentioned.
The smartphone features a 5-inch display with a full-HD (1080×1920) resolution, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Unlike the Honor 6 1.3GHz octa-core Kirin 920 processor, the Extreme Edition is driven by a more powerful octa-core Kirin 928 SoC, clocked at 2GHz, alongside with 3GB of RAM.
It houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 5-megapixel front shooter. There is 32GB built-in storage onboard that is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

On the connectivity front, the Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition supports LTE-A Cat.6, Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3,100mAh battery.
