Earlier this week Xiaomi launched its new 4G tablet in China, the Redmi Note 4G. The tablet is priced at CNY 999 (approx $162). Unlike the Redmi Note which runs the dated Android 4.2 Jelly bean, the Redmi Note 4G runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
The tablet features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It offers single SIM functionality, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box overlay with the company MIUI v5 skin.
The Redmi Note 4G is powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, slammed with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card.

On its rear back is a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, and there is 5-megapixel secondary camera at its front for selfie shot. Connectivity options included with device are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, GPS, Micro-USB, China-specific TDD LTE band and OTG. It is backed by a 3100mAh battery.
Last month, Xiaomi launch Redmi 1S which features a 5.5-inch display, 1.7GHz octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The smartphone is expected to be available in early of August.
