Philips W308, W3500 And W6610 Android Smartphones With Dual-SIM Support Launched

Philips has launched three new Android budget smartphones in the India market, the S308, W3500, and W6610.

The S308 was priced at Rs. 8,290 (approx $140), the W3500 at Rs. 16,195 (approx $275) and the W6610 at Rs. 20,650 (approx $351) respectively. The availability details of the devices have not be revealed. The Philips S308 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality with dual standby.

It features a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels and sports a curvilinear design. The S308 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM with a 4GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

The Philips S308 sports 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, with no word on the front camera. It’ll be available in Black, Blue, Red, White, and Yellow colour variants.

The Philips W3500 also runs Android 4.2 Jelly bean and offers dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) support. The newly released smartphone from Philips features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 480×854 pixel.

The W3500 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

It is loaded with 4GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The W3500 is backed by a 2200mAh battery. The full details and specs of the Philip W6610 is yet to be fully revealed, but we’ll keep you informed.
