Samsung on Tuesday introduced the Galaxy M31 officially in India, the successor of the Galaxy M30s – bringing with it Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, quad rear camera, 32MP selfie camera, and a 6000mAh battery.
The phone features a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340×1080) resolution, while the “U” notch centered above the display accommodates a 32MP selfie camera with Sony IMX616 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.

Moving on, the Galaxy M31 is powered by an Exynos 9611 10nm octa-core chipset clocked at 2.3GHz, clubbed with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 128GB of storage (UFS 2.1). The storage can be expanded up to 512GB via MicroSD card.
The phone sports quad camera behind as already mentioned – there is a 64MP Samsung GW1 main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 8MP ultra-wide angle lens (123°) with an f/2.2 aperture, followed by a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The device runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top. It has a dedicated dual SIM slot, while biometric security is provided by a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity presents are Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11ac (dual band), Dual 4G VoLTE, 3G, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The Galaxy M31 relied on a gigantic 6000mAh battery for power with supports for 15W fast charging.
The phone has a plastic back with dual-tone finish, themed in Ocean Blue and Space Black colors. The 6GB RAM/64GB storage version is priced at Rs 14,999 (US$225), while the 6GB RAM/128GB storage version will be sold for Rs 15,999 (US$240). Amazon India and Samsung online eStore will be selling the phone from March 5th.
